I WAS FORCED INTO EXCLUSIVE PUMPING

after 21 months, i stopped breastfeeding via pumping due to pregnancy (we're expecting another boy Spring 2025) and teaching thousands of parents how to do the same!!!

01. my sweet family

i have been unfortunately blessed with anxiety, depression and ADHD (the mental health trio) —
it's really important to me to speak about my mental health. therapy and medications have been such an important part of my personal growth journey. i believe the more we can talk about this candidly, vulnerably — the more we can make these types of help become more available and normalized.

02. mental health

as an oversupplier myself, it has always been so close to my heart to support the same community that my family started in — the NICU. i have donated hundreds of ounces to fragile babies to our local MN hospitals, in addition to individual families and babies in our local community. this has been incredibly healing to me as making the decision to exclusively pump for my son was so hard.

04. pumping education

when i first started diving into the world of exclusive pumping, i was so surprised that there was not more lactation professionals focusing on pumping, or even knew how to advise pumping parents. and now as a lactation counselor myself, it is SO important to provide accurate and accessible information to parents who choose to pump, or were probably "forced" into exclusive pumping.
